New Museum Exhibit Opens May 14, 2016 and continues through November 2017

Following the highly successful Civil War in Brownsburg Exhibit, the Brownsburg Community Association and the Museum Advisory Committee are excited to announce the opening of a new exhibit.  Curated by Ken Koons and Nancy Sorrells, scholars and experts in the field of Virginia mills and distilleries, this exhibit explores the integral role that grain farming, mills and distilleries played in the economic development of the Shenandoah Valley and more specifically Rockbridge County and adjacent counties.  Artifacts from area residents and regional museum collections are featured along with a narrative that brings this exhibit to life.

The Brownsburg Museum is open every Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday from 1-4 from April until the end of November.  Admission is free.  Donations are welcomed.
