Historic Brownsburg Area Country Garden Sampler Tour

Saturday, July 2

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Spend a day in the country touring five beautiful, diverse private gardens in the greater Brownsburg area.  Garden owners and docents from Green Hills Garden Club and the Rockbridge Area Master Gardeners will be onsite in each garden to answer questions.

Gardens are accessed by shuttle vans from two stops:

  • Raphine – Wade’s Mill, 55 Kennedy-Wade’s Mill Loop
  • Rockbridge Baths – Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 90 Bethesda Road

The 15-minute scenic drive between the two shuttle stops takes visitors through historic Brownsburg along the way.  Free parking, restroom facilities and shade/AC are available at the shuttle stops.

Jump in a shuttle and leave the driving to us! Enjoy the scenery on your way to visit two gardens from the Rockbridge Baths stop and three gardens from the Raphine stop.  Shuttles will run constantly with pick-up/drop-off on a rolling basis. Shuttles will depart the Rockbridge Baths stop and gardens @ every 10 minutes.  Shuttles will depart the Raphine stop and gardens @ every 10-20 minutes, depending on the garden.  Please note that due to parking limitations at the private gardens, this is not a self-guided driving tour.

Tickets $25 in advance, $30 on the day (if not sold out).  The tour is “Rain or Shine” and no refunds will be made for inclement weather.
