Visit four historic houses and three private gardens on a self-guided walking tour of approximately 1/2 mile in beautiful Brownsburg.
Meet the owners and docents at each property. Enjoy Container Gardening demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Visit the Rockbridge Area Master Gardeners’ Composting display. Glenn Wilson from Olde Log and Stone will be available to answer questions about historic cabin restoration and relocation.
Parking, registration and day-of ticket sales will be at Wade’s Mill, 55 Kennedy-Wade’s Mill Loop in Raphine. Buses will run on a continuous loop for the approximate five minute trip to Brownsburg. No Tour parking will be available in Brownsburg.
Lunch will be available to purchase in Brownsburg from LexVegas Bistro
The Tour is “Rain or Shine”. No refunds will be made for inclement weather.
Proceeds from the tour support college scholarships for local students, local fire and rescue teams and charitable missions for the local community.
